Heritage & Kayu works alongside independent artisans, small studios, and trusted partners across Indonesia. Based in Osaka, Japan, the platform connects Indonesian craftsmanship with international audiences through careful curation, documentation, and storytelling.

We are not a studio or a shop in the conventional sense. Rather, Heritage & Kayu serves as a platform that recognizes the artisans and small-scale studios we work with, particularly those engaged in ketak weaving and leathercraft, as integral to the identity of the brand itself. Our role is to create access, visibility, and continuity for international audiences in Japan and beyond, without erasing the hands and histories behind the work.
